I'll bring a small roast or Prime rib or something like that. IT will probably be medium rare to rare because I am selfish.
If I have time, I will also bring some mashed potatoes.
I can also bring an Apple, Pecan and Pumpkin pie.

There are outlets and you would have to bring your own crockpot to warm it back up/keep it hot in.

Sometime at least a week before the ball, please be specific so we can get a handle on what will be available. We do not want a bunch of people bringing the same thing. Bring your own crockpots for hot dishes. I believe the kitchen has sufficient serving utensils.

The power outlets at the Hall are notoriously easy to overload. It is HIGHLY recommended that you try to warm the items up either at home, or at your hotel, and then bring them to the ball in an insulated container, if possible.
I realize this isn't possible for all dishes, but the less things we have heating up at the hall, the less likely / number of times we trip the circuits.

Would a catering tray heated by stereo be allowed? We were considering a tray of the cheesy potatoes.
If not we will probably do a pork loin as the second dish.

We will need 20 gallons of Cider, which unfortunately will not all fit in Geoff's vehicle (unless he leaves Diane and her gear behind, and that will not end well for him). Whomever agrees to bring some will be rewarded with 200 service points per gallon. Please post of message me if interested.

A few people asked me about a place to keep food and drinks cool.
In case you haven't been to the Moresca Hall before, I just wanted to explain a few things to make this easier for everyone:
There is no kitchen, no refrigerator and nothing provided at the facility to heat food in/on.
You must bring your own cooler with ice to keep food safe. Please leave the cooler in your car, there is not room to store everyone's by the food tables.
You must bring your own crock pot or a chafing dish set-up with Sterno if you have a hot dish.
To avoid anyone accidentally eating something they might be allergic to, PLEASE bring a note card with the name of and ingredients in your dish. Feel free to sign it and make it as fancy as you want!
Bring your own serving utensils to go with your dish.
Label all of your items that you plan to bring back with you.
You will have to pack up your crock pots, dishes, etc. at the end of the night and take them with you when you leave. You may want to consider something to carry the dirty things in. There is only one slop sink in a small closet, so you will have to wait until you get home to properly wash out your pots.
James does not want to have to pack your things in his car and bring them home with him, so don't forget to take your things.
If you are bringing soup or a stew-type dish that can't be eaten on a plate, you may want to consider bringing some small paper bowls with you. There will be hot cups, but consider everything needed to enjoy your dish properly when you go to the food table to set it up.
Thank you everyone!
