Corteccia

The January PC Award goes to a brand new player, Charna C., for her character Corteccia. She played up her satyr heritage while confidently roaming the woods by herself, as comfortable there as she was in the Inn. On top of showing no sign she was new to the game, Charna impressed many long-time players with her immediate ability to bring those around into game, sometimes intentionally pushing herself further into character to dispel out of game activity nearby. Great job Charna!

January's Player of the Month award goes to Doug Pasko! Doug has an amazing attention to detail when it comes to set up and atmosphere not only in his own room, but anywhere he goes - he even changed the light bulbs on the campsite from bright white to low-watt orange bulbs, giving all the electric lights a torch-like quality. I'm not sure if that makes him crazy or awesome, but I think we'll go with the latter!

Doug & Jen's Room

Cabin of the Month once again goes to Doug and Jen's room. Normally, we try not to give the same people the same awards so close together, but their place was even more decorated than last month! If you didn't see it, check it out this event. It's amazing how some effort, fabric, and props can transform the modern Sac rooms into something so medieval. This is the second month in a row their room has won - I encourage you all to try to take it from them next month!

The NPC Award for January goes Ralph A. for yet another amazing performance. In playing Professor Dante, Ralph went that extra mile with his role-play, even including phys rep leeches in curing the rampant leprosy that was spread by plot. Ralph gives even his short-time NPCs interesting personality, detailed costuming, and creative props. Thank you for the continued hard work Ralph!
