Needed for November

Getting a Jump on what we will need for November. Anyone interested in bringing in something on this list should PM Quan Liu at the usual rate of service point.. This list is ongoing and will be modified to include more items as needed so don't be disappointed if you don't see and opening right away.

20+ Industrial Garbage Bags (33 gallon size, also if possible they should be construction grade about 3mil)
18+ Rolls of Toilet Paper (1 "Brick")  claimed
200+ 8 Oz. Hot Cups (More in cold weather, undecorated if possible)
8 oz. Cold Cups
400+ Paper Plates
100+ Paper Bowls
18+ Rolls Paper Towels (more if feast will be messy) - not needed at the moment
1 Grill Cleaning Utensil (We destroy one each event and they have become a necessity) - not needed at the moment
1 Large Bottle (32 Oz) Dishwashing soap
1 gal. Regular Vinegar (For cleaning and cooking) not needed at the moment
1 gal Bleach claimed
Scrubby Sponges
Easy Off Oven/Grill Cleaner

Coffee - claimed
Hot Chocolate - claimed
Creamer for Coffee (powder or liquid)
Powdered Drink Mix
Sugar-Free Drink Mix

We also need the following:

Batteries: AA, AAA *we appreciate donations of batteries, please only donate Energizer or Duracel or other name brand, the dollar store ones don't last a night) more than one person can volunteer this item
Battery operated candles: Tapers and Pillars (no tea lights)
Forks (need between 10 and 20 forks for feast)
Wine Bottles: cleaned of labels and washed

dish towels for drying - we always seem to not have enough to dry after feast.  old hotel towels work too

I'll see what I can get from work as far as candles go.  And any wine bottles I go through will certainly be donated.  Oh no, it looks like I'll have to drink more wine in order to support my larp, oh woe is me...

For those of you interested in donating candles, wed like the lighting to look uniform for aesthetics. The above link is the only place I know of that sells the candles we use. Primarily Ivory, but we do have some red. They are about $12 a piece and sell in packs of two.  These are great candles, last a very long time, and look leaps and bounds better than any other brands of taper candle. We use the 9inch ones, not the 12 inch ones, so please be careful if you order any to get the right size and color. Thanks

For Pillar candles we buy them fro the Christmas Tree Store. In thier candle isle you will typically find battery pillar candles for around $3 each. they are good, however they do have a shelf life of between 2 to 4 events before they break and need to be tossed.

Un-know to most is that Quan Liu has 3 cases of un-used wine bottles on site so thanks Bill bottles are a check

It looks like Luis edited my post for the batteries, but anyone who can bring some,please do. Almost every candle in the inn needs new batteries and then having some extra batteries is good too.

I can get forks and wine bottles.

My family goes through the 1.5 liter bottles.

I did Kelly and I apologize. I realize this is one of those things that the more the merrier... I adujsted the notes to encourage greater returns.

Paper bowls and plates, various trash bags, Gatorade, and some other sugar drinks are in hand.  Will get scrubbies, sponges and other kitchen stuff.We can always use 3# of coffee, usually by Samantha M.

I have a BJs coupon for batteries, so i will grab a package (24 to 40) of AA and AAA.

Just to reiterate Luis's statement, there are literally cases of unused wine bottles at the camp right now - unless they are asked for specifically I'd say they don't need to be donated right now, as space for them is an issue.
