Needed for December Event

The following are needed:

Red Eyeliner pencils

700 plastic forks

700 plastic spoons

3 canisters of Hot cocoa

6 canisters of sugar drinks, preferably Pink lemonade, Gatorade, and raspberry iced Tea.

Long kitchen matches

Heavy duty paper plates

Paper bowls

Hot cups, paper. Claimed

Plastic measuring cups and spoons  Claimed

Ceramic coffee mugs

We have two people who regularly bring coffee, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Not counting the eyeliners or coffee mugs, the toal needed in dollars is around 125.  I usually buy them, as BJs and Giant have excellent prices.  If you want to commit to reimbursing for some of the above, message me.  You will get SPs at a 35:1 ratio.  Folks, I need the SPs like a moose needs a hatrack, so do  not be shy.

Charlie, unless this event there was a short order on them or they were otherwise hidden, can I request that we have extra hot cups for December? It seems we ran out of stacks for the NPCs to use in Logistics around 9 or 10pm, and there was still a long cold night ahead of them. Thanks so much!

Will do, Kristen.  As I was not at October's event, I did not have an inventory from which to work and only brought one package of 180.  Will double it this time.  Does logistics have its own hot water service?

Is that 35 SP per 1 dollar? Also, just to clarify, Charlie, are you saying you will buy all the stuff, and we reimburse you the money instead of everyone buying things individually?

Yes on the ratio, and I have no problem with others buying things, but unless you shop at a discounter, like Sam's, BJs, etc. or have an arrangement with a retailer,  you will not be buying as cheaply as I do.  Certain people always bring some suplies, Katie O brings toilet paper and paper towels and Sam M. brings 3# of coffee and at least one canister of sugar drinks, which is why the former and the coffee are not listed.

To clarify - yes, he does the work, and you reimburse him and get the SP.  This is the most efficient way to get the shopping done, and at the best prices.

I like it. It also makes it so that we don't accidentally buy something someone already got because the boards were not updated or some other such set of circumstances. Thanks guys for clarifying.

Kristen we actually do have about 6 sleeves of cups provided they don't find a home before December event.
Also, eventhough we have someone bringing in paper towels and bathroom tissue of these too much is not enough...

I am thinbking we could leave a sleeve or two in Logistics and have the MM on duty let us know when they are low.

im going to bring about 150 Styrofoam cups as well.

White styrofoam cups are , well, horrible from an environmental PoV.  That said, if you already have them, do not throw them out.  The Hot Cups I get from BJs at least are paper/air based, and are not starkly white.  I get 180 12 oz cups for $11.  If I stumble across coupons, they are less.

yes i know how horrible they are i was planning on using them on something else but i don't want them to go to waste so to donation they go. i don't plan on buying them again.

I didn't see the heavy duty trash liners, just thought I'd put it out there, eventhough I'm sure they weren't forgotten...

When I go up this Tuesday, I will do an inventory of the HD trash liners and the 13 gallon bathroom liners, as well as the other usual suspects.

im also stopping at a local store on the way up ill pick up some paper bowls and plates if i can afford them.

Please don't say "If."

If you can get them, commit to it, and say you WILL get them.

If you can't commit for 100% sure, don't volunteer.

Otherwise, either we'll wind up with too many of the item, or not enough.

If you need to, you can let Charlie buy them, and then hand him the money, if you can afford it.  You will get the Service Points as if you bought them.

Trying to be helpful and say "If" or "maybe" winds up being more of an issue in the end than helpful.
