Limit - one hot dish per person.

After you get your card, see me to have it noted. Hopefully, I will be able to wrangle some other KMs as well.

We will be using high end plasticware as in the past, along with high end disposable plates with some sort of design.

After I speak more with James, we will get a handle on power strips and extension cords.

I don't know how I'd cart a whole desert there, Charlie, but I can certainly try...best way to transport sand?

I will bring Hot Spiced Cider, as usual.

When prepping for meals/dishes like this, a number of servings would be useful to go by so folks know how much they can make, should make, & so on.

Edit: also if what you bring requires special serving instruments or such, please be aware.. there are limited outlets at the site for pressure cookers, hot pots, crocks, so on. Also we always seem to run out of heavy duty paper cups for hot drinks.

For the Ball, it is specifically asked that you bring your own drinking vessel. You can get fancy, since there will be no combat!

The first two dishes are Lamb Stew... I think I'm set!

Will bring Chili (possibly Vegetarian friendly chili as well)

Will there be a way to warm dishes? The Chili generally travels in a big cast iron pot, but it may need warming.

There will be outlets. In the past we have been able to plug in about 10 crockpots, provided by the people bringing the dishes.

I shall be bringing pulled pork.

in this case I will be bringing pork boats at the behest of people threatening to kill me if I do not.

For my enlightenment, having left my Buddha guise behind, what is a pork boat?

Is there a way to donate food (or something else) to get SPs without attanding the event? My wife wont't let me do two LARP events in one month.... She has never said that... But i am afraid to ask.

You are a well trained husband, Dan. You can arrange for someone to bring your contribution to the Ball. Have said individual bring it to my attention and I will either note it on yur card or give it to you next event.

I am just taking the description of a pork boat that I put up on facebook and I am posting it here: Take half of a baked potato, hollow it out, fill it with pulled pork, then sprinkle cheese, and crushed bacon on top of it. I will also try to bring mashed potatoes. (gotta do something with all of the potato innards)

I will bring a crock pot (I think it's 4 quarts) full of beef and Italian sausage chili.

I will bring beef stew, and a vegetarian variant! Also, any sort of juice, drink, soda, w/e.. anything needed

Remember the test your Junior High teacher gave you when she told you to read all of the instructions (which began by stating "read all the instructions before doing anything after filling in your name) and after listing 20 or so questions it said, hand in the paper with nothing on it but your name. I will be bringing gingerbread cookies! Some of the ingredients might have touched nuts so if you have a nut allergy I would stay away, just to be safe. Also I could POSSIBLY be bringing some type of Spanish dish ( like rice and beans or something) still don't know though. hope everyone likes my cooking/baking! ^^

Due to some last minute difficulties, I will unfortunately not be able to make the chili. Perhaps next time.
