Moresca Ball Food

We need the usual foods for the ball, hot and cold dishes, desserts, beverages, salads, breads and spreads.
The following is a list of compensation offered:

Hot Dishes: 1 Build or 2000 SP

Cold Dishes, Salads, Breads and Spreads: 1000 SP


Beverages: TBD


All dishes must have a written list of their ingredients by its container. All hot dishes must have a warmer.
If possible bring it in a crock pot. We have power strips.

I'll bring meatless Ziti again.

I'll be cooking a big 'ol thing of slow cooker cocktail weenies in a yummy sweet chili sauce (they call it chili sauce, but it's not spicy at all)

Ingredients:

Some sort of small cocktail wiener/sausage such as Nathans[/li]

• Heinz chili sauce
• Heinz ketchup
• Bit of BBQ sauce
• Smuckers Grape Jelly
• Cracked pepper, paprika

Sounds odd. . . and that's what I thought at first. . . but wow is it surprisingly good.

I'll bring mini pigs in blankets

Question 1: Is there an upper limit on number of dishes to bring? Because I can do a bunch. I've had a request for my avgolemono (a thick and hearty Greek chicken and rice soup; thick enough to be more of a stew). I can bring one other, including a vegetarian gluten-free, dairy-free casserole (which has also been suggested).

Question 2: I can bring professional chef warmers, including butane canisters. Is that acceptable?

The swarf and I will bring two pumpkin pies and some gingerale.

I can bring an assorted cheesecake platter! They're already pre-cut into slices!

For the moment I will say each character you play is able to provide a dish, however I will be going to Sac to do some work tomorrow and will ask James to make certain I am not speaking out of school.

So, the "pumpkin pie sampler" listed should be a cheesecake sampler. It's a mistake that implies a fondness for pumpkin pie, so I'm not even complaining.

I can bring beef bourguignon and asparagus with bacon.

Sodium free chilli

I can make up some Chili and bring it up in a cock pot.

Sending sugar cookies and possibly other goodies (if I have time) with Jason! He'll have index cards with all of the ingredients listed so ya'll will know what you are eating.

Reminder that I'm bringing two hot dishes:

- Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian casserole (try it even if you're a meat eater). This dish uses a cheese substitute, and coconut oil and coconut milk. This will be in a chafing dish with burners and does not need electricity.
- Avgolemono, a Greek chicken-and-rice soup that is flavored with lemon (gluten-free but not dairy- or meat-free). This will be in a slowcooker; I will bring an extension cord just to be certain.

Both dishes will have detailed information on sheets of paper I will bring with me.

I can bring a spare folding table if need be.

For the benefit of anyone reading this thread: My mother has the worst case of celiac I have ever even heard of, and I spent my late teens and most of my twenties cooking for her. I guarantee my dishes to be gluten-free when they arrive on site. I cannot stand over them to ensure no further contamination (though I expect none and do not live gluten-free myself, my mother's condition made me paranoid about gluten contamination, so I feel obligated to mention this). However, IF YOU NEED IT I will set some aside for you to be absolutely certain!

Hey, sorry about this super late response (I don't check Facebook that often and had no idea you were required to let people know if you planned on bringing food) but I'm gonna be a trashy PTA mom who brings a meat and cheese platter, lol.

I'm gonna be bringing a crock of bacon fried rice, so whoever is ready for a heart attack, I'm your man,

I'M VERY SORRY. I have to withdraw from bringing food. We have a family emergency and so won't be able to make it up to Moresca.
