Moar Avatars! was created by GJSchaller
I've made a batch of new Avatars for folks out of the photos I have - some of you, I've updated already, others I couldn't find a Forum ID for, so I could not get you updated.  If you have one of the characters below, there's a new Avatar waiting for you in the list of Avatars...

Ambrose Leonides
Azalu Birchwood
Bikomi
Ib
Oakroot
Ranith Al'Ethra
Shiku Akira

If you have a photo of yourself you'd like turned into an Avatar, you can PM me with a link to it, or drop an email to webmaster@knightrealms.com, and I'll be glad to update it for you.

Hey, don't knock 6 year old avatars.  It's nice to pretend I don't have any grey hair yet.

My mother saw my avatar and said "awww you look so beautiful normally, why can't you look pretty like the girl with the beautiful red curls*? See, she's in character and she still looks lovely and feminine"

She then proceeded to surf through all the character images and point out how much nicer than me all the girls looked in character.

31. The backup trap handler is not whoever has the most HP at the time.
73. Not allowed to name my cudgel Ceremonial Whoopass Stick.
74. My thief's battle cry is not "Run And Live"

Are we allowed to request our old ones back? It seems very wrong to me for Mixolydia to have an avatar who looks so darn serious.

Jen, I think that was a goof on my part - I was trying to eliminate duplicates / old ones, and zapped the wrong one.

If you would like, I can even make you a new one - let me know if you have a preferred picture, and I'll make it from that.  Otherwise, I'll restore the old one.

Hey, I have NATURAL beautiful red curls, thank you very much. I just iron my hair before KR because its easier to manage for the weekend that way (and keep it clipped up all weekend. Tramping around the woods with my mid-back length hair flowing loose would be ridiculous).

Actually, I have a Kyle Broflofski-esque Jew-fro.

Some of us would be delighted to have gray hair. :)

Your mother isn't by any chance Jewish, Jenna? :)  Not that I'm profiling or anything, but having been raised by a Jewish lady, I can assure you as time passes, certain criticisms fall by the wayside and more imminent biological issues step to the fore, mostly having to do with grandchildren.

Sephardic Jews :-). Hence the red jew-fro.

I'm not hurt by her criticisms, I assure you. It's sort of an on-going joke between us: See, she was a model, a ballerina, a fashion-designer in Paris... and I squeal with delight when the comic book conventions are in town.

She's fiercely proud of my professional geek lifestyle, brags to anyone who will listen about the size of my comic and game collections, and sets all of Sunday night aside to hear every detail she can wring out of me about the LARP. She teases me about this stuff, but it's all in good fun: for every Spider-Man t shirt I own, for every weekend spent rolling d20's in a friends basement, there's another weekend spent wearing designer boots, sipping Cabernet in a posh wine bar, and that's good enough for her.
