Better off in Market Place, but when Son of Sandlar comes around during Ren Fair season, it's pricey, but you will never need a new pair of boots.

Check the Marketplace section of the forum, occasionally people sell stuff (like boots) there. Or you can check the weblinks section of the KR site. People's opinions vary about who/where to get boots from.

We hold in our hands the harvest of what we have sown in Hope. Do we sow for Good? or for Evil?

Also bought boots from company that Alex recommended called House of Andor. Decent well made but not Sandlar quality

I'll second Son of Sandlar. They're pricy, but as long as you take care of them, they'll last forever, and they are very sturdy. My first pair lasted about 4 years, until I wore them into a flooded basement - they were still dry for half an hour, but after that they finally died. My current pair has been another 4 years, and are still in great shape.
Boots are an investment. You pay what you get for - it's worth saving up to get good ones, if you can.
