Bloody Business was created by Gabrian Grottings
Hey guys,
hope all is well and that you re getting excited about the upcoming week in the life.

In preparation for it, I was wondering if anyone knows some recipes for fake blood, or would be willing to pick some up for me; my folks aren't too keen on buckets of blood arriving at our doorstep.

Wonderful Chris! Thank you.

Now the next question is where can I find some NPCs who wouldn't mind getting covered in the stuff?

:)

See you all at a Week in the Life! Toodles.

The type of fake blood you want to make is dependent on what you plan on using it on and if you are willing to accept a chance of it staining clothing or skin.

That being said, I made a metric ton of fake blood that tasted like fruity chocolate and did NOT stain skin and as far as I knew, clothing. I can shoot you the recipe when I get home.

But I recommend being damn careful with any fake blood since most people do not want fake bloodstains on their garb.

Yeah, if you could send me that recipe Samantha, I'd love it. The last thing I'd want is for people's stuff to get ruined or for them to walk around with giant lasting red stains on their skin.

Keep in mind, just because it did not stain the dark colored garb that the folks were wearing at the Alt event, doesn't mean it won't stain blue cotton, or green silk, and so on. So in the spirit of being cautious, I advise to keep it on the skin of consenting folks. But I am in no way a staff member.

Depending on when you need said npcs, I would be willing to help out, and bring old dark clothes, which staining of will not upset me, should they occur. Let me know. Apparently I do a good creepy haunting young woman.

I would be most willing to be covered in fake blood. It sounds like a fun time, and I love mods involving blood. XD Except when it involves dead mutilated babies sacrificed to Glomm, then it usually ends in pain and misery.

Thanks guys, that's really sweet of you. If you are still interested in volunteering, come find me before "lay on" on wednesday and we'll talk about when and where this shindig will go down, and what will be involved. *Please note: I am not a rules marshal or story teller and am by no means is this related to their plot or mods*

PS: it will not be for the feign of heart but I can assure you, there will be no babies sacrificed to any god; I mean really, who actually believes in such backward things as the deities. That's just shoddy logic! ;)

I'm just gonna throw it out there because I know a few recipes include it:

Please make sure that if the fake blood includes peanut butter to give the NPC's a heads up.

A friend of mine who is NPCing the extended half of the event is quite allergic.

That being said, I am very for this.

Hi Elias,

I'm not sure what your plans actually are, but just as a note, players do not have jurisdiction to set up their own mods or utilize NPCs (even volunteers) without approval from the Storytellers, Event Plot Marshals, or possibly an Officer. Even Monster Marshals are only allowed to send things out on their assigned shifts. The only exception to this is if a PC is using a skill like "Hired Help" or an elemental summoning spell, in which case they must get a volunteer to play that part for them as per the rules. So, unless this is a case of other PCs choosing InGame to be covered in this blood as offered by your PC, you need to make sure you have whatever it is you are planning approved by an appropriate party - in this case, probably James as he is organizing and running the Weekday portion of the Week in the Life event.

Thanks!

;) that was the exact reason I added that little note, but thank you Kristen. I want to make it very clear that I'm not trying to run my own mods.

To clarify, the blood isn't for any particular mod, but is just something that would be used to spice up certain IG PC actions.
