New Person Greetings

Howdy folks. My name's Gaylord and I'm kinda getting interested in this Knight Realms stuff after reading a bunch of the rules and forums. I'm not new to LARPing or gaming, having at one point run an old Changeling LARP and continuing with a bunch of other things. I am new to boffo-style LARPing and haven't done more than one weekend LARP.

I'm sort of interested in NPCing or working as kitchen staff (have fast food and catering experience). I think I might see you folks at Dexcon...

What genre(s) of boardgaming do you play.

I'll try almost anything once. I'll be running three versions of Battlestar Galactica, Dune, Kremlin and Innovation at the con, if that helps show my current interests.

I might be able to make it down for part of Saturday, if folks don't mind a "tourist"?

We really don't have out of game observers to the games - it has a negative effect on atmosphere to have people walking around out of character and it can sometimes make people feel uncomfortable.  Even marshals functioning out of character are supposed to minimize their presence as much as possible. 

You are of course welcome to come and NPC for a short time, which is free, or you can pay and play a character - the cost to play your own PC is the same no matter how long you stay, but so is the amount of Build you earn for the weekend.
