I know there's a no-politics zone, but I'm bumping this because voting is important, regardless of who you support.

People are doing their civic duty.  I never had to start in line outside in 31 years, but today I did.  I was voter 457 out of around 1600 at just before 10 AM. 

I say in 4 years, we put together an across the nation tailgate party at every voting site... grills, beer, and voting... the american dream.

Let's keep the voting going! 

Tina voted at around 4:30 and was number 1020.  The line was short, but over 60% had voted with over three hours to go.  Am studiously not watching the news until 10PM and Indecision 2008.

I voted for the first time today, not only was it excititng, my sticker was very patriotic and had the whitehouse on it.  How Patriotic. 

I hope you all got your vote in for oswald cobblepot, he promises to eat alot of sardines, have only three fingers and waste alot of time and money finding his long lost parents.

Penguins can fly-- in the water!  Dig up a copy of Berked Breathed (sp? -- the guy who used to write Opus cartoons) "A Wish For Wings That Work."  It's Opus the Penguin's Christmas book -- it's great fun.  I read it to my 7th graders when we do adaptations. =]

I didn't get a fucking sticker.
