stomach bug

I've noticed on facebook and myspace, a lot of people are sick with this stomach bug. So who else is?

I as well was struck by the bug but I think i'm almost over it.

I was.  Not pleasant

im just getting over it today

I am as well.  I can't keep water down, still.

I got a head cold.

I have the health of ten, due to my pure heart.  I feel fine, after getting 6 hours of sleep last night.

OMG ... It hit me after I got home last night. I was up until 6 in the morning dying. It seems to be over now. I just went down to the corner gas station convenience store to get some Gatorade and 7-up and the attendant looked at me like I was a homeless person, when I got home and looked in the mirror, I didn't blame him

Yeah, I was completely laid out too. I felt it settling in while watching the Eagles' game at the Moose, but managed to make it home before true disaster struck. But I'm at work and keeping down food and water now, so it looks like I got a milder version than some...

I got it as well, but seem to be recovering.

I am being hit by it hard, vomiting, diarreah, 101.5 temperature, and a rash around my eyes.  I'm going to see a doctor today.

how the hell did I miss getting this bug?

Joe just got hit with it at work.

I had a migraine all day yesterday so I was nauseous anyway and didn't notice anything else until 1am this morning. Where I slept on the bathroom floor until 7am throwing up every half hour and diarrhea. Soo gross. I'm starting to recover but still feel a little wobbly and nauseous when I sit/stand up.

Yeah, screw that noise.  I'm actually thankful for having to go to work on Saturday now.  It seems like I got out in time.

Gatorade isn't so great when you're trying to hold water... I think.

Gatorade is good becuase of the electrolytes. It re-hydrates you fast and gives you energy in your weekend state. Any time I ever went to the doctor for something like this long ago, they would say sip some Gatorade as well as water.

Also ALL growing things need electrolytes, ESPECIALLY plants and food crops.

As soon as she felt sick, she isolated herself from the kitchen and most of the game... as much as it sucked, I can only imagine what it would have been like if she was helping with feast like she usually does.

I'm pretty screwed up myself. I'll be leaving work soon to go to the doctor.

i got it too.  also no food/drink back at the apt in FL and my car is at the shop.  Thank god for nice people willing to take a sick girl to get water and bread at the store...

I did not get it (yet), I wonder if there was a common denominator?  I was around Diane when she was sick, and didn't contract it.  I ate everything at feast (though I don't think I had any dessert at all).  I had the sausage at the breakfast Sat. Morning.  However, I don't think I drank any non-boiled water from the camp.  (I had my own supply of water and gatorade with my camping gear).  The only thing I ate from Market faire was a delicious bacon and mayo sandwich.

I got hit with it around 11 pm last night, but felt it coming at around 9. Gatorade and ginger ale are now my bestest friends

One thing I HAVE been able to keep down is hawaiian punch ice pops. Not the flavor-ice brand, particularly hawaiian punch.

I'm definately feeling some sickness, but its not too bad yet.  I seriously hope that I haven't caught the plague like the rest of you all.  Though looking at who's sick, I'm very concerned how the rest of today goes.    Hope everyone feels better. 

Norm and Nicholas are fine - I'm watching Nick and Matthew while Norm and Justine hit the fleshpost of Vegas for three nights and four days.

For what it is worth, I had a flu shot four weeks ago.  I ate everything and anything that was laying around as well, but unlike most people, I did not kiss Andy or Zach. .  I breathed pretty close to everyone however. 

Gatorade, cut in half with water, is an ideal rehydrator.  Any of the good low sugar drinks with electrolytes are good.  I recommend hot baths.  Sweating it out is good.
