Sorry to everone I annoyed for this event...

Mar and I live with my parents and we just found out the house is forclosed and we are going to be homeless. Afraid we won't be able to make it for quite some time  :'( Wish we could be there...Thanks to everyone who helped.

Ouch.  Hope things turn for the better.  If you and yours are looking for a way to delay foreclosure... try using a "produce the note" tactic.  I was just reading about it on a webpage a little while ago.

You can also google "produce the note" and see a bunch of facts about how this can delay (and only delay) foreclosure.

Just a small piece of news... I don't know your situation, so I can't really say if this is viable for you guys or not.

Another thing you can do to delay forex is declare bankrupcy... have the attorney handling that put in a block notice to freeze all collectible accounts which would also freeze forex procedures.  Also your parents could try getting in touch with the bank for a restucture, especially if the bank in change took a dime from the government from TARP.... in about a week the mortgage structure laws for the new stimulus package will be out and one of those things might help get out of a forclosure.

My Parents are trying to renegotiate the terms of the mortgage being as this is the first time in 24 years they have ever missed any payments... The mortgage company is being very difficult even thought they got the stimulas from Obama...

On A side note... A friend of mine may be giving us the money to attend as a belated X-mas present! So we may be able to show up (all be it late) if we can get all of our stuff together!!!

I worked for HFC/ Beni for 5+ years... by the way 6100 employes let go since they HSBC are shutting down consumer lending across the US.  And now I work for a wealth management firm.  I kind of need to know things when it comes to money.  Don't know anything else though that is why I have people around me to fill n the blanks
