Not for nothing, but hasn't the 'private' IG forums thing had disastrous results in the past?

No feelings 1 direction or another... but is it feasible to set-up special lists or mailing groups on the PM function?  So if I am part of an IG mercenary group and I wanna address all my fellow mercs, instead of PMing each individually or having to type all their names in the To: section?

For the moment, you can do a kludge to solve that issue: save a notepad file with the appropriate forum names saved like this:

Hotfoot, Bladesword, Kendrick, ....etc.

Copy and paste into the carbon copy section as needed.

It did, which is why we never put them back up.  It was horrendous, where people who should have had access never got it, and people who never should have had it got it, because they were OOG popular.  It also got out of hand with RP going on that heavily detracted from the weekend events - this is a LARP, not an Online RPG - the focus of the game is at the live events, the forums are now mostly OOG for that reason.

I'll talk it over w/ James during DEXCON, and see what we come up with.  There may be a middleground that can work out.

It also was the worst kind of meta-gaming.
