Actually, I'd seen this years ago, was reminded of it in an article on Cracked, and THEN decided to hit wikipedia.

So I am out running errands today, and the car next to mine has some stuff in the back seat, plainly visible - a pumpkin, and a watermelon.

The pumpkin is decidedly pale in color, and the watermelon has rotted spots on it, like the one from the article.

I didn't stick around to see if they made noises or not.  :o
