That's right folks, click the above link and you'll see the McRib is returning to ALL McDonalds for the next few weeks.

Life is too short for food that sucks.  McDonalds is to food as Justin Bieber is to music.  I think that analogy is valid.

The analogy is not valid.  The McRib has been longer than Bieber has been alive and the McRib has fans across the board.  It maybe "unhealthy" to eat, but it doesn't suck.  Even healthy foods can be bad for people... raw foods have high risks of food poisoning.  Fish can cause mercury poisoning.

Plus... we are larpers.  We feed and thrive off of unhealthy crap.  We eat junk, sleep on dirt, and hit/abuse each other while going through sleep deprivation for a weekend.  The McRib is the epitome of that. 

I'm actually surprised the sodium level isn't higher.

I have developed into a food snob.  I still hit people with plumbing supplies and latex, but prefer to sleep on a mattress, air or other.  I eat well, as anyone who has seen me (or the larder I b ring) can attest.  Rib Crib in Germantown - those are ribs worthy of Lawnside.  They would p[lace well in any TX BBQ competition, and would kick butt  in Mississippi. 

I guess if you need a fix, any\thing will help. 

Paul, I like you and all, but the McRib is terrible.  Seek help, dude.

[We] had the exact conversation about the McRib this morning. We believe McDonalds is bringing back the McRib because it is a cheaper meat product (just a press of processed meat trimmings) rather than the more expensive bacon. Bacon this summer reached historic highs and, if you noticed, bacon has become a part of everything (salads, burgers, etc.). "So, in order for McDonalds to break even on their products they either had the choice of increasing the prices on their menu (an unappealing move for a fast food chain that might end up driving away more business rather than earn more revenue) or push a food item that has lower costs to produce: the McRib.
