My idol when I was learning to play the sax in high school jazz band. Of course, there was a major difference between he and I that prevented me from ever being mistaken for him. I couldn't play the sax for shit...

Growing up in NJ, to a family raised in NJ, with a dad who played Sax through High School and College, and playing the instrument myself, I grew up with his music.  He will be missed.
