Music to event

So since the other music topic is so popular I have another music question to pose to this group.

On your way out to the camp do you listen to any type of music to put you in the "gaming mood"?

Anything by Eluveitie - folk metal band. They always put me in the right frame of mind for KR.

I have a playlist made up for Gideon, Carlos, and Garrun, that reflect events that have happened to them while at KR, and where they think they will be going. The lists... change over time.

Outside the lists, it's Blackmore's Night, Within Temptation, Two Steps from Hell, and various movie soundtracks.

Liz Hale is a fun vocalist. I like some of their music.

Depending on how I'm coming to camp... via the train, I listen to a playlist of X Japan, Metallica, Disturbed, Godsmack, & the Carmina Burana on my smartphone. Via car with people, then it's more of talking with the other people in the car & the discussions that help me start asking myself "What would Radley do?"

Hi guys, new on the forums and haven't played the game yet.... but anyway I always listen to the Braveheart soundtrack on the way to the game when I play my Highlander guy... OR maybe some old school Korn with some bagpipes!

I enjoy two steps from hell, Epic Score (really nice soundtracks) and of course a bunch of movie soundtracks, including The Battle from Narnia. I also have a couple of game soundtracks which have brunner's frame of mind perfectly...

For me it's Halestorm (Told Karla about them ) Mixed with A.F.I some Cradle of Filth, Some Blaqk Audio, Nightwish. Usually songs that remind me of my character and get me into the mindset of what I need to accomplish that game.

First, as part of a time honored tradition there has to be at least one Norwegian black metal song. I prefer something by Gorgoroth but it is pretty flexible.

From there I like a little Johnny Cash(like you didn't see that coming)

And, to really bring home the true redneck experience, a little Sweet Home Alabama.

Most of the time, I listen to the music whoever's driving puts on, but in the past, it's been things like Two Steps from Hell, Opeth, and Dean Martin. But whenever I want to get really psyched, I plug in my headphones, turn up the volume, close my eyes, and listen to some Rhapsody, Blind Guardian, Falconer Kila, Alestorm, and a few other awesome bands.

On the way to pick up JJ and Luis, I listen to Pictures at an Exhibition. After l leave Luis' I play something by Faun.

I like the mixed cds we have made! One of our songs is monks chanting!!

I have a playlist of KR pumping up songs. These two are ones I definitely need to listen to on the way there. Especially Animal I Have Become. I've deemed it Keavy's official song, therefore it helps me get into character haha.

For Elric, I tend to listen to Turisas, or similar groups...
I like to listen to this before events.

I'm also big on using Nightwish to get in the gaming mood? xD Mainly the album Dark Passion Play. I think if Tris had a song, it'd be Last of the Wilds, so it works really well.
