Knight Realms the Anime

I think that if KR was made into an Anime it would be awesome. What would it be like? What would it be about? This has kind of been on my mind for a bit and I wonder what other people would think.

By "KR"... do you mean an anime based on us (the people) playing the game & the shenanigans, drama, romance, & other stuff that occur during the game... all in an anime form/style?

Or do you mean an anime of our characters in the game, and an anime based on the world of KR?

If it's us playing... then it would look an a reality tv show or a sitcom or some sort of show (in anime format) that has us doing what we do during an event. I would lean more of a comedy type of thing.

If it's of the KR world... take any Fantasy anime (Record of Lodoss War, some parts of Sword Art Online, Berserk, etc...) & just expand the cast of characters on the show to the size of all the players in KR.

Depends. It would be a funny comedy anime if it was about our shenanigans and drama, but the fantasy adventure anime of the KR world, especially of our characters in Travance would be epic.

Our shenanigans are pretty damn funny. If there was an anime for KR, it would most likely be an adventure fantasy based on Travance and who resides there, but I would much rather watch one about our shenanigans.

If you think about it, and the people that come to our game, there would be a fair share of comedy in the fantasy adventure version as well.

True. It depends on how the anime is created. If it is an adventure fantasy with our shenanigans present, then it would be really good.

I have only been at KR for three months, this upcoming as my fourth.

I would love an anime/manga series that is similar to Genshiken, but with Knight Realms. It would show the in-game and out-of-game perspective from veteran larpers, newcomers, rules marshals, and of course-- James. What does running an event entail? What is it like being new to LARPing or perhaps, LARPing in Travance. I'd love to see the process of various characters in making a projection of who they would like to be in the KR world and what they do in the world outside of KR. Does the person hide his/her love for LARPing, or is this person too forward with LARP? Embarrassed perhaps?

The importance of the anime / manga is to have different shorts that revolve around each KR member and their experiences which shape the kind of character they wish to become.
