KR Berks Contingent Fighter Practice/Rules leanring and Potluck Picnic AUGUST 30th!!

hey everyone!

With the success of the last cook-out/fighter practice, we will be hosting a SECOND gathering of Larpers and noobs to work on Larp fighting skills, how to safely duke it out KR style and how the rules work. The more folks know going in, the less chance of error, ye know?

Food will be Potluck- everyone who would like to come to this, please bring something to share with your fellow nerdz, be it a salad, beverages, snacks or items to be grilled (wood fire).

Adult beverages are welcome but moderation will be enforced. For those coming a distance, we have limited crash space available.

If you are intending to come, please message here with what you intend on bringing.

This one is on August 30th with an estimated start time of Noon.

For everyone going to this, please let us know what you intend on bringing!

We have limited indoor crash space but plenty of space for tents.

Cam and I are bringing Italian-marinated chicken drumsticks (we have nineteen), and a marinated eggplant (as a vegetarian option) to throw on the fire.

Let me know if we should bring any cooking utensils, etc!

I wanted to thank everyone for an awesome time today! It was great to be able to meet so many of the new players and veterans, get a hand in becoming less of a melee chump (thanks Leslie! ), and generally just having a good time!

And that is the reason for this event.... Help folks figure out the combat part, work on some of the rules and eat some excellent food!

If and when we try to do this again, it will hopefully be a repeat of the same- good food, excellent camaraderie and fun practice!

And as always, if you are coming a distance, you can bring a tent. Plenty of space!

We had over thirty people. Food was excellent, drinks were plenty, cars well parked clean up minimal, smokers were respectful and fun was had. Melody is exhausted. I'm trying go stay awake long enough to get home safe messages from folks. You were all great guests!! Thank you for making this hosting easy!!!
