The topic for the November issue of the Chronicle is Fear.
Some say you can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. Some say fear doesn't exist anywhere except in the mind. It may be an emotional response, but does that make it any less dangerous than other threats? Fear defeats more people than any other one thing in the world. Fear is the main source of superstition, and one of the main sources of cruelty. To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom. Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence.
Perhaps you have a story about fear - a time you overcame fear, a bedtime tale from your youth, or the moment you turned and ran. What do you think about fear? Please send any submissions on fear, or a topic of your choosing, to Amizar Wuzwhir, care of the Chronicle.
Compensation for work that we publish is 10 gold per work, and the Barony considers it additional service to the common good ((OOG: 400 SP per article, and build for consistent contributors)). The deadline is Sunday, October 26.
