Love.
Everyone knows Travancians are afraid of nothing, but that one word has kept so many tongue-tied and glued to their chairs.
Who--or what--do you love? A spouse, a parent, a child, a comrade-in-arms? Do you love your land? Is it possible to live without love, or to love too much? Knowing love, would you choose to live without it? Is it a blessing or a curse--or both? Do you have a story about love you’d like to share?
The Chronicle will be trying a new section this month focusing on fostering connections between the subjects of Travance. If you are looking for a certain type of person--a sweetheart, a teacher, a new friend--send a small paragraph about yourself and the person that you are seeking. These will be printed anonymously, and replies will be sent to the Chronicle offices and then forwarded to you.
In addition to stories about love, we also encourage you to write about recent events you have experienced. If you want to contribute, but are uncertain of a topic, feel free to contact one of the editors for suggestions. Pay is 10 gold per article, poem, or piece of artwork; in addition, the Barony considers it service to the common good ((OOG: 400 SP, and build for consistent contributors)).
Please send your submissions to Amizar Wuzwhir or Lois Maxwell care of the Chronicle.
Deadline--and we mean it--is Sunday, April 12th, 1215.
