History is written by the victors.
The theme for November issue of The Travance Chronicle is History. It has been said that “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Are there things that you know that should be remembered? Our stories of the history of Travance should be shared and celebrated.
We are looking for stories from the past, perhaps commentary on major events, not tales of fiction. You might have a family memoir about Uelrog the Ravager that your grandfather always tells. Maybe you know a different side of The Great Plague of Avondale. Names will be withheld on request, but remember that anonymity is limited to the readers.
In addition to stories about history, we also encourage you to write about recent events you have experienced. If you want to contribute, but are uncertain of a topic, feel free to contact one of the editors for suggestions. Pay is 10 gold per article, poem, or piece of artwork; in addition, the Barony considers it service to the common good ((OOG: 400 SP, and build for consistent contributors)).
Please send your submissions to Amizar Wuzwhir care of the Chronicle.
Deadline is Sunday, Nov 1st, 1215.
