Master Ergos, Sgt. Erik is on the case and he is a strong investigator. Many unfortunate reports hit my desk this moon and yours was one of them. Next moon you do not need to fear, for your and a guest of your choosing will be under my care here at the Barron's Manor. The Barron and I welcome you both and hope that this gesture will ease your mind. Consider this your formal invitation.
Sgt. Erik please report any leads and findings you might have to us as soon as you have any. Thank you again for your great service and quick response to this matter Sgt.

This is not fitting welcome for those who would seek to call Travance Home. These murderers among us must face the consequences of their actions. I offer my assistance in tracking down and capturing this skulking scum.

I dislike that someone....or something....had the audacity to attack one of my students. I truly hope that the guard can find the culprit.

Ergos. A murder is a murder. Whether or not you are vengeful, the law must be upheld, and the subjects of Travance must be protected. Understand we are treating this with the greatest urgency, and justice will be done.

Lords, Ladies, and fellow town's folk,
It seems we can't go a single feast without some poor bastard`s soul, getting ripped out of dream land, and woken up in the Spirit Realm!
One seconded your dream o` slaying Fallow and his minions, sipping on Satyr Wine with the Andorran priestesses, or what ever it is some of you folk dream of. Then, POW, your dead and wondering if you'll ever see little Dizzy or Jimbo the Orge again!
Why don't some of you post watches? The Blood Spirits sure do. The Baronal Manor does as well. The Guard do a great job, but even they can't be everywhere. if you don't want to wake up to dead people, post an alive one, sure there are ways around one sentry, but it sure can't hurt.
On another note, this town is no stranger to violence and death. We ALL kill! Undead, necromancers, bandits, husks, vanier, a few woodland creatures, an occasional demon trying rule all of Arawyn, you get the point.
Why kill someone in their sleep? Sure, it does wonders to vamps, lycans, animals, but a person NOT in war? Really? That is what the popular way to kill someone here is now, in their sleep? It's not even original!
I get that sometimes you just have to kill someone, I really do. If you want to be a bit more stylized in your slaying, please seek me out. Poor Form sir or mame!
Should you wish for even more aid in this search of an artless murderer, I'll surely lead my skills as well.

-McCoy, A.
P.S. Welcome to Travance

Dear people of Travance
Yes this was a most unfortunate matter. But rest assure that the Guards and I have this matter well under control and will take even more action to safe guard the people. But with that said I would agree with master McCoy that arranging watch within the barn with all those staying there would be a highly advised. Remember that taking steps to ensure ones safety is the first step in survival. Travance has much to offer in opportunity for those who would call her home. But with Opportunity comes those who would try to take advantage of the good people as well. Be vigilant in ones action and the action of others. If a deal seems to good to be true.. it probably is. If you meet someone you don't know or someone you do know and you think they wish you ill, then report to a Guard right away. If no Guard can be found but a Noble is, report your concerns to said Noble.
We as the Noble and Guards are tirelessly coming up with better ways to help protect and serve the people. But the first step will always start with you in knowing what to do and whats not to do. Many lives have been saved by townsman helping and looking out for one another. So let us push forward and be mindful, observant and wise and we will all prevail.

Yes, Argyle. None of us is an Innocent in the truest sense of the word. We have all slain others. However, some (YOU) are overly hasty to appoint themselves Judge, Jury and Executioner and see it fit to strike against any errant innocent Werewolf or other town visitor simply for the supposed "crime" of existence. Watch yourself. I'm certainly watching you.
Travance is a dangerous town but not all conflict must end in death. We must strive to rise above our base natures. It is a struggle every day. A struggle I know well.

Ketryn,
While some of your words are right with truth...none of us are innocent and I see you struggling with your base nature I will remind you of the following: the Witchhunters hunt specific prey according to their procilivities in a constant effort to protect the populous from attacks from creatures of negative energy type.
They are the judge, jury and executioner for just such creatures supported by the crown in those endeavors.
I do not know if you were tasked to watch Argyle McCoy or if this task is your own assignment but I would remind you that he is acting under the crown along with every other Witchhunter we have in town.
Furthermore, they have direct reports above them and file such each moon through their houses. They are constantly watched by those above them for changes in behavior or mental duress.
Also Argyle bears a cross and if he were to step out of line I assure you it would be properly dealt with in time.
Now since we have seen this type of criticism before regarding security of the realm from you before in regards to your persona as Huntress I am now concerned about your own mental well being and strongly urge you to consult a physicisan as soon as possible.
Cmd. B. Drexel
Blood Spirits
PS. If anyone can assist in this consult and or a Noble of Alisandria direct this assistance I would be most grateful.

Good people,
As much as arguing over ethics is allowed I am going to request you do it else where. As this is an ONGOING INVESTIGATION I am going to close this conversation to anything not of a helpful nature to the investigation of Ergos's murder in the barn. I do this as the LEADING OFFICER of the investigation.
SO PLEASE TALK ELSE WHERE!
We need to take this incident seriously and not argue over someone else's MENTAL stability.
SGT Erik Silverfang

Well spoken Sgt Erik
Again the Sgt speaks with wisdom, this matter is as he said closed, any concerns should be brought to Sgt Erik in the form of a Private letter to him as is the leading investigator.
Birgitta Drexel this was not the time nor please to bring said matters you have with Ketryn.
I expected more from you both Birgitta and Ketryn as to not impair an on going investigation with non-focused, NON-relevant information that does NOT concerning said investigation.
Again thank you Sgt Erik, we await your reports
