CALLING ALL FIGHTERS!!!
Hosting Celebration Battle Royale Contest for all who wish to enter.
Sunday at One Bell.
All fighting styles welcome!!! Bring Swords, Shields, Spears, Daggers, Throwing knives, just be last one standing.
Entry Fee: FREE. This is a festival for celebration, not profit.
There will be two separate Contests
Newcomer Royale – Can be entered by anyone still fresh to Travance (oog: Level 20 and lower)
Full Royale – Any and all can enter!!!
Prizes to be announced soon.

I would appreciate the aid of healers to make sure that those present do not die. I would like to have 2 or 3 healers present for this purpose and would gladly pay 10 gold each for your time.

Runic Necklace with 3 sockets built in. Your choice of 3 runes of weapon folding, 3 runes of protective reinforcement, or any mix of the two.

First Prize for Full Royale:
Kraken's Grasp Bracelet -
Bracelet artifact that seems to imbue its wearer with the ability to constrict, restrain, and crush their enemies just as a Kraken can. (and I know. I've fought one.)

As this is being run by my cousin, I will offer a slight addition to the newcomer winner. Should the winner be so inclined, I will be willing to provide a storage rune for one of the sockets.

I thought we weren't supposed to fight royal people? Royale? Is it spelled with an e in this language?

Are there any restrictions on potions or magic during the fight?

Potions and Magic are not allowed. Scrolls either.
Beat down your enemies with skill and win the prize.

I should be available for the purpose of keeping the competitors alive.

Also, goodness, but you've amassed an impressive collection of exclamation marks.

Unfortunate that forms of magic are not allowed. I was going to enter but druidics is my style of fighting. Not really good with blades other than to block oncoming attacks. Perhaps I will come watch and aid with the minimal healing i know.

Is it alchemy not allowed in the ring, and would drinking a potion before entering count?

Given that it seems this contest will be of weapon art skills I am inclined to take you up on this celebration. So to be understood by myself and others both contests are mainly specific to basic forms of martial prowess? No magic, no alchemy, just basic martial skills (lower list skills)?

I would be happy to offer my services as a physician for this. Hopefully between myself, Fenri, and Starling, we will be able to take care of any and all injuries that arise.

I do have a query, though: where will this be taking place?

I am surprised at how many healers I have getting back to me. I have also recieved missives from Mantel and Ergos. I am not sure I can pay everyone.

It is indeed a martial competition.

As for location I plan on using the old fighting cage in the woods. (oog: the basketball court)

I appreciate your mention of my letter, though I would clarify that I am not attuned to that kind of Weaving, at least not at this time. Though, I would suggest again that should you ever wish to hold one of these events again in the future, you contact our Lord. He may be able to lessen the burden on our town's short supply of Healers with some of his patent "Alkhemical Wonders."

I wanted to take some time to thank all that participated in this competition and Burkhart for coordinating the event. I saw a great mixture of fighting styles and am proud to fight along each and every one of you. A special thanks to the healers and physicians, who came from all walks of life to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Congratulations to those who won! I hope to see you all back in the ring soon enough.
