Rules Announcements for March 9th, 2009 (Races, Armor Materials, and Javelins) was created by GJSchaller
Some updates:
[hr]
The long-awaited Race & Profession clarification:
Remove Mage from the Goblin starting list.
Add Gambler to the Goblin starting list.
Remove Cavalier from the Khitan starting list.
Move Dragoon from the Khitan prohibited list to the starting list.
Move Brute from the Khitan penalized list to the prohibited list.
[hr]
A single piece of armor, as represented by a physrep (even if consisting of multiple attached pieces), must be made of a single material In-Game. Pieces of a set that are detachable are not subject to this restriction.
The coverage required to obtain the benefits of Mithril and Fire Drake scale should read both Upper AND Lower torso, not just Upper Torso.
[hr]
Specs for making a Javelin Phys-Rep:
Min Length: 36"
Max Length: 60"
No core or solid body
Thrusting tip
A Javelin may not be used as a melee weapon, only as a thrown weapon.
[hr]
These updates will be amended in the Online Rulebook shortly.
