First Aid Supplies was created by Evadne
The kit was just recently ravished, so I'm in need of some new supplies.

Ice packs (many)
Gauze rolls x6
Ace bandages x6
Regular band aids
Tweezers x2
non latex gloves x 2
Scissors x2
Wet Ones x 3

If interested send me a PM so I know what will be donated.

Thanks

Would one pound packages of frozen peas and corn suffice for the cold packs?  At least for the area at the Inn?

Instead of/in addition to sugar packets (how many?) do you wnat Lifesavers at 9 calories each, as most diabetics can tell you?

pixie stix in a ziplock are, in my opinion the best for this.  They can be absorbed quickly, and if necessary, can go into warm water for best absorbtion

I will strongly recommend Glucose Tablets, which should be easily available, instead of candy.  If, Heaven forbid, someone passes out and needs medical attention, the tablets have measured amounts of sugar and carbs in them.  That way, a Doctor or EMT can be told "They had X grams of sugar" instead of "X pixie stix."

While I enjoy the partaking of the stix myself, this is a medical emergency kit we're talking about.

Being an Insulin Dependent Diabetic I fully agree with Geoff's suggestion
Glucose tablets disolved under the tongue is the quickest remedy for a hypoglycemic diabetic

I wont be going to my first event till october, but I have alot of instant cold packs I could give you guys.  I don't need them at the house any more (I got my son a booboo bear).  Just let me know if you want them.  I also have a couple of my friends going in sept that I could have bring them if you need them earlier.
