Dexcon KR Help

If you are planning to attend Dexcon this year and believe that you will be able to help with either manning the booth or helping to NPC the KR mod, or both, please let me know so that I can coordinate with you here. Please post your name and what you are willing to help with. The more you do, the more you will be compensated for. Unlike previous years I will have a set formula printed for how to determine your compensation and so you will receive it upon the very next regular KR event by filling out a very simple form.

As a side note, I want to remind anyone who is already a member of KR that the KR mod at Dexcon is for potential new players, so please don't sign up for it, accept through me to NPC it. Thanks so much!

I'm willing to watch the booth anytime I'm not staffing for the convention itself or playing a game. I'll let you know more when I get my schedule.

I'll NPC for whatever is needed.  I just need to know what the time slot is so I can get off from work 

I can do anything that doesn't conflict with the Super Hero Larp I promised someone I would help run.

I maybe showing up Saturday for a few hours.  Just stopping by to say hi & hang out. I can man the KR table if you need me to.

I'll be down for helping out at the booth or NPCing.

In addition to needing fodder NPCs and folks to man the booth,  we need specific roles to be filled.

These require a serious amount of dedication and heavy roleplay or combat.  Some will also be heavy make-up.

I'm willing to NPC and potentially to help with the booth at some points. I have no idea what games I'll be playing in - or even how things worn at this con, as I've never been - so I don't have a schedule, but perhaps I'll figure that out before the con starts....heh.

I will be running "Boffer Fighting 101" from 2 to 6 on Friday day - I could use a hand from people who don't mind showing off their stuff!  (I'm not the best combatant in the world, I know - just a good talker. ).

I need 1 or 2 other people who have different fighting styles (Sword & Board, Master Florentine preferred) - I don't think we'll go the full 4 hours, so it won't be that grueling.

In related news, there is a Boffer Tournament  on Sat. morning at 9:00 AM:

L0032: ALARPA Combat System; "The DEXCON 14 Boffer Tournament". A DEXCON 14 Exclusive! A collection of the greatest warriors from the past, present, and future gather to see who is the best of all times. Fighters will square off in one-on-one duels in a double elimination tournament to see who can emerge as the greatest LARP warrior of the con. Costuming and character play is heavily encouraged, but no special abilities, or magic will be in use. Armor may be work, but will not be counted. The tournament will run on a hit location system, not hit points or body. A true test of your skills. The winner of this tournament will receive a DEXCON 14 Trophy! Saturday, 9:00AM - 1:00PM; One Round; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Serious, 18 & Over ONLY.

Is there a restriction on weapon types for the tourney? Could not find any more details.

I only know what's posted, but they've allowed sword & board, 2 swords, and 2H in the past.

We have a preliminary list.

When i'm not staffing the con suite, i'll be around to help with any and all KR stuff,  Had my schedule cleared to NPC for both events on friday as well.

Crap... due to events beyond my control, I can't make it to Dex-Con.  Sorry.  I hope you all have fun & I will try to catch you at the September or October KR event.
