Friday saw the last of the wood cut to size and delivered to Sac. Forest (with very little help from me) painted most of it. Today Ron and James are starting the assembly. Wednesday I will cut and paint the last of the trim for them.
We already have most of the wood for 8 five foot long benches, which will suffice for the long benches already stained. We will acquire sufficient wood to make 16 three foot long benches for the 4 new three foot square tables.
Judiciously placed, this will allow us to seat up to 40 more people at feast than we currently can.

Are you suggesting we use Kyle as a base for a hearty winter stew?

This is amazing. And with people bringing more of their own mess kits, I'd wager we can look forward to a full metal service in the next year!

Arlington: "I believe you can attribute our subdued response to the fact that we're eating bacon."
Brother Germaine: "You have bacon?"
