2018 MORESCA BALL POTLUCK FEAST!!!!

Hello all! I will be coordinating the banquet side of the 2018 Moresca Ball!
With that being said; please post here the type of food items you will be bringing to the ball as this will be a pot luck style event! When preparing your delicious items be mindful that it should be able to feed at least 20 servings worth of food. As well please place the items in aluminum pans, the ones you put over little burners, so that we can keep the hot food items nice and warm. This also applies to cold food items as well for ease of organization and to top it off having it in these containers makes it easier for clean up!

If it is absolutely necessary that you bring some kind of hotpot, pressure cooker, or any device containing food please keep in mind that the building has so much wattage to spare and may increase the risk of a breaker being tripped. I also ask that if you do bring such items to also consider bringing an extension cord / surge protector.

Food items brought will be rewarded depending on the quantity brought! If will be 2 build and 2K SP for every approximate 20 servings worth, regardless of whether its hot or cold.
Examples:
1 Half Pan = 1 Build 1000 SP
1 Full Pan = 2 Build 2000 SP
2 Full Pans = 4 Build 4000SP

I and the rest of the community cannot wait to eat your delicious offerings to the ball! So do not hesitate to share that special recipe or share that special dish you like to enjoy! Also do be mindful of allergies and be sure to include an ingredients list accompanied with your dish!

For the sake of convenience and organization please post in here what items you will be bringing to 2018 Moresca Ball! As people start to fill out this thread, please try to observe what they are bringing and attempt to supplement evenly whatever types of items seem to be needed.

Planning on making pulled pork!

I will bring a soup kettle for hot cider, and a 5-Gallon jug of Cold Brew Coffee.

I’ll get 4 gallons of cider - in the past, the cider bringing was a distributed effort so no one person got stuck with 20 gallons.

I'll be bringing crescent rolls

I will bring a 6qt pot of vegg curry and a pot of rice in rice cooker

We need to also have a reimbursement for cold and desserts

If we have the funds, I'm hoping to convince Ben to make some of his jackfruit (vegetarian) pulled pork as well. Because we appreciate our veggie friends!

I'll be bringing my (not actually) famous saucy turkey meatballs. Contains meat, dairy, and gluten.

Greetings humans!

Blackbird will be running drinks again! Alas, there are a lot of you and you all drink like you haven't had liquid in three days. If anyone wants to pitch in, we would greatly appreciate it. Here's what we expect we will need!

6 gallons cider- Geoff said he has 4?
1 gallon maple syrup
1 big thing of cinnamon sticks
6 gallons milk
3 2L bottles of cream soda
6 packets of Butterscotch pudding mix
1 bottle caramel coffee flavoring syrup
1 big bag of brown sugar
6 sticks of butter
3 bottles of grapefruit juice
6 2L bottles club soda
6 bottles sparkling cider
variety of soda pops

If anyone has those huge tubs for water/gatorade/iced tea, please bring them!

If you just want to throw money at us instead, that works too

I hope to bring at least a half tray of cold artichoke pasta salad.

I will be bringing cookies and cream, pumpkin spice and red velvet cupcakes. Hopefully (If I have time) I will also be bringing two strawberry cheesecakes

I can bring a variety platter of pre-cut cheesecake!

I am bringing a tray of eggplant parm and a tray of sausage and peppers
