You would like to get a gorgeous custom Nemesis weapon for the 2008 season? Now's the time!
Even though the season hasn't started yet, we already have a lot of orders. And since we're waiting for a few big contracts and we'll soon start stashing stock for the season to come, we won't have much time left for complicated pieces.
We might be forced to limit the custom pieces at 2-3/month. Which will mean longuer production delays, so order in adavance!
Note that the Galery and In stock sections are now up to date.
And to show you that we just keep on getting better, here's a few pieces we finished lately:
Dwarf warhammer (28")
Chinese style naginata(60")
Chain-swords, Warhammer 40 000 style (44")
(Personnal project of Francis, one of our employees).

I'm actually interested in getting a Group Order together for these guys - with an order of 6 (or more) items from their regular catalouge, everyone involved gets a discount:
www.ateliers-nemesis.com/english/group.htm
(Yes, the ringleader gets an incentive, I will state up front.)
The more weapons that are purchased, the cheaper the overall cost. I will try to order for late Feb., to allow some time for people to get fund together.
Please post if you are interested!

Speaking of custom orders anyone a really good weapon artist? I've got a few designs I need drawn up for possible custom weapons I want made and I am epically horrible at drawing. If anyone is capable and willing toss me a PM about it or E-mail me a few examples of previous work. The last two people I've asked to do this for me have more or less failed to provide anything let alone something I could use, so please only people with skill and or time contact me. One of the projects is something for the game specifically so I might even be able to convince James to let me give SP for it. Also if the designs are good enough I'd probably be willing to throw a few bucks the persons way. That or sexy pictures of Kristen in various poses/lingerie.

I'll try! I like drawing and I think I'm ok at it. Most of the stuff I draw up is conceptual stuff for other people.

perhaps a sword done in a phoenix motif? It'd be a special order, but they may like a non-dragon critter deco piece. I can design it based on my katana.

FYI to all, KR does not accept weapons with wood handles. So make sure when you order from these guys, you don't choose one with a wooden handle.

OK, I am placing a Group Order. Here's the details:
Order away, and let me know! I'll be adding my own items to this to help increase the discount.
Note that all prices on the site are in Canadian dollars! I'll give you an estimate in US$ once I can get the order priced as a whole.
- Anyone who wants in, please let me know before the Feb 29th Event, and get me your order before then. (PM or Email is fine, don't post here!)
- To get the Group Discount, the items must be ordered from the Catalog.
- The Catalog is at: www.ateliers-nemesis.com/english/home.htm
- Bring payment to the Feb. 29th event, to me (Geoffrey), and I'll combine it all to place the order with Ateliers Nemesis.
- The more that is ordered, the better a discount we get! Once the order is placed, I'll calculate the discount everyone gets, and refund the difference to you ASAP by the means you wish. (I can use the discount to balance out shipping, if that makes life easier for everyone.)

As Roy noted, wooden handles are not allowed. However, they should be able to make a given weapon with a foam handle if you would still like it.

As of this morning, Canadian Dollars are about 1 to 1 with US, so you can assume the price will be the same in US Dollars.
We have enough for the minimum discount, so any additional people who want in will add to the discount levels. It's currently at about 7.5% off, and will rise as we order more.

When ordering a weapon, check to see if there are multiple lengths - most come in 70cm, 90cm, or 110cm (ad at different prices). The 110cm one is about 43" long, putting it in Bastard Weapon category for KR - the 90cm will safely be in the 1HE / 1HB range.

Frickin' US economy... I remember the days of my dollar being able to buy a whole lot more than it used to.
Geoff/Aldriel... how are warranty's/exchanges/repairs handled when we do a bulk order like this? If my order was part of a group, do I have to state that should I send the weapon back to you guys for repair?

Fyi, for sword fighting, a 42 inch 1he is often much worse then a 36. I have two sords that long and I'll never get one that long again. The 36, 38 max, are signficantly faster, and since you cant thrust with a latex, the extra length doesnt net you that much

If there's ever a problem, you have to contact me directly and just tell me you that your weapon was bought within Geoff buying group. Then I'll see what the problem is and take whatever action is needed: repairing or replacing.
But I doubt there' ll be any problem. Our weapons are designed for much more brutal combat then what you guys seem to have.

I never said that our weapons are indestructible... and I advise you not to believe anyone who says that.
If you try to break them, I'm sure you will ( and this will cost you a few hundreds $
)... But in a normal LARP combat situation, they can endure years of beating.
As discuted earlier with Geoff... yes scabbards can be part of the buying group deal. And we have a new, cheaper model (35$) chrome-tanned, non-hardened leather.
And as promised, here's the picture:
