Good news/Bad news? was created by Bladesworn
I am unsure how to read this, but it turns out that Museum Replicas Ltd is now selling LARP gear.  LATEX foam weapons, tabards, and other items, as well as they are having a sale on a number of items.

So... good news for some folks who have the cash to spend... you can now buy more as the company seems to be needing business badly and are selling everything they can.

Just a side note... if anyone wants to order from them, there's a coupon code of "KOS" you can use to get 15% off your order.

Thanks Paulie,

I think I've seen those weapons before, anyone know who makes them? Also, the site is still a good place to shop.

We invite you to BRING THE ADVENTURE HOME with weapons from the Warlords Collection by Windlass!

The site may be wrong, but I think they are hinting that Windlass makes them.

Nope... you are reading that right.  The site is stating that the latex weapons are from the Windlass company.

I am just saddened that Museum Replicas has had to stoop to this.  Normally I saw them as a company with "standards".  Albeit, weird ones considering their customer base... but still... now it seems they aren't getting much business and have to branch out into other things to keep afloat.  I'm not saying selling LARP gear is beneath them or wrong... but it kinda strikes me as odd, considering their business history and performance.  ???

Medieval Wears did a similar thing. Even By-The-Sword sells larp things (First to sell larp armor). It's not so much a sinking to this, but an elevation. The more places want these items, the more money the makers get to design new weapons and so on.
