Anybody looking to buy colored contact lenses?

I happened upon this site when I was looking for colored colored contact lenses on the cheap, and realized that others might want to know about this too! It's a Korean website, but they have great deals and even better ones if you order more than three pairs of lenses.

What they do is they take a bunch of orders at once, then they ship after their ordering period is over (which, in this case, would be Sept. 30th). I sent an e-mail to them with questions, and I got a prompt reply:

Hi Emily...

Thank you for your interest with our lens...

For international shipping would be US$ 5.00 for 1 to 3 pairs of lens... it usually take about 8 to 15 days for international airmail... however please be informed that after our batch order close on 30 september 2009, we send order to the korea manufacturer and it take about 1 week to produce the lens, 1 week for the lens to reach us, and 8 to 15 days to reach you.... so please allow it aout 1 month for the lens to reach you....

It would be US$ 19.00 for one pair... if you buy 3 pairs and above... it would be US$ 15.00 each pair... and we also have promotion of buying 5 pairs and get 1 pair for free...

maybe you would like to combine orders with your friends and relatives...? Our batch order will close on 30 September 2009... you would have a lot of time for you to collect order...

So, would anybody be interested in buying a pair of colored lenses? They have wacky ones and very subtle ones too. Let me know in the next week or so, and I'll place the order for you. The only downside I'd see is that I'd need people to give me the money for them first before I place the order.

Yep, from -.00 to -5.00 they go up in .25 increments, and then from -5.00 and up in .50 increments. If you just wear glasses, you'd have to find out your lens prescription, 'cause glasses and lenses prescriptions are different.

If I can find out what my lens perscription is, I'll totally do this

If you actually have contact lenses it should say on the box what strength it is.  Just be careful though if you have eyes with two different prescriptions.

I need to look a little more in depth at them but yes i would like a pair or 2, it says on the site not to "sock them in protein" that regular care should be enough, any ideas as to how we are supposed to store them then?

I'd probably be willing to get in on it.

Emily, I am currently not anywhere near my contact prescription, when do you need our info by?

being one who wears contacts daily and has and has had numerous pairs of design/colored contacts. i would personally be wary of a company that charges such a small price. for such a product..

the phrase "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

i dont want to sound like a worry wort but i would HATE for any of you to be injured in any way shape or form let alone from a pair of contact lenses

And that is why we should all make a dry run at home, in the safety of friends and hospitals.

BTW, the change rate is 18388 Korean Wons to $15.
