The internet in general and ebay in particular are usually great places to look for hidden gems.

What in particular are you looking for? If you provide some specifics, we might be able to help you out.

Medieval Collectibles

By The Sword, inc.

Ring Mesh

ETSY

Dark Knight Armory

Calimacil

Forgotten Dreams

Ateliers Nemesis

Artisans d'Azure

Here's a list of possible resources since you didn't specify what you were looking for. I personally recommend these guys: DwarvenPaths , they did some great work on-site last game, and Mahoney is a player at the game who owns LARP Exchange and also sells really cool stuff from various distributors.

We are more than happy to talk to you on-line or on the phone about what you are looking for. We like helping people explore ideas for basic gear, but maintaining some unique qualities for you the player.

Not sure what you are looking for, but we do make most of our stuff to be affordable.

You can check us out on Facebook at DwarvenPaths. Shoot us a message there or here regarding what you might be thinking about for gear and we'll be glad to help make it or steer you to another vendor who might be more suitable.

Dwarven Paths, a few posts earlier, combine high quality with inexpensive costs, a rare combination.

Enough good things cannot be said about Dwarvenpaths! They made me a completely custom piece that I absolutely love, and they are very fair on pricing. If you need, or are thinking about, any leather at all, go to them!

As for other things, I got most of my garb from Medieval Collectibles.

Also, try a thrift shop in your area, you might find something you like there for dirt cheap!

For garb, there are many at the game who sew. Most, if not all, are reasonably priced.
