Hi Guys!

I missed this August event because of Asthma and some weird cold. Shame. Anyway, while I was at home I got confused about something. I wasn't completely sure whether a level is 10 build that you own or 10 build that you've spent. I want to know because, like most apprentice pyromancers, I'm aspiring for Incinerate and Elemental Summoning. Also, I have some spare latex shortswords that I might carry around in-game or in the car in case anyone needs to borrow a spare for September. Bye!

By my hand,
Professor Terzak Winstonshire

It's for every 10 build that you have "in the bank". You don't have to have spent it; level is determined by how many you have total. An example would be Bob the dragoon has been helping out at the camp and has a bunch of build available to use at his next event. He's only spent 34 build but he has 50 total build he has earned. This makes him level 5 and not 3.

Glad to hear you're gonna come play with us soon! Look for me sometime if you have any questions and I can introduce you to the head of the Mage's guild. I'm hard to miss--I'm the good looking Silverbow ;)

What if you wanted to be the lower level for some reason, could you claim to be lower, if you haven't spent the build? I ask for things like level capped mods. If I have 34 spent build, but 65 total, by your answer I'm level 6. Would it be possible to count as 3 so I could go on a level 5 and under mod?

There no hard and fast rule... if you quickly and politely explain that to someone running the encounter they might allow logic to prevail... no promises though :)

As a monster marshal, I tend to do whatever your combat level is. for example; if you have 14 levels worth of physician abilities, and 2 levels worth of mage skills, I would let you on a mod with a level cap of 10. Since likely have very little in terms of combat skills. Same goes with unspent build.
