Macy's and the Rick Roll was created by Secarius
Well I was watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade a few minutes ago and when they go to the Foster's Home for Imaginary friends float.. it was cute and all the characters were singing "my best friend" when suddenly the music changed and out walked Rick Astley singing his song...
and then one of the characters (Cheese) said "I love Rick Rolling!"

that's it.. just wanted to share.. and I will give you all something to give thanks for by NOT sharing the video.. im sure you all can imagine.

It was horrible.

Probably the low-point of that announcer's career.

Bash  it all you like, it totally cracked me up. I thought it was well executed and done with style, and it was all the funnier to me trying to explain to Steve --who had never heard of rickrolling--why I was nearly in tears.

I love a singer who can laugh at himself. Bout time he got some $$ out of being the butt of a nationwide joke (which I can only assume he did).

As to the announcer--if you really watch the announcers for the parade, you'll notice they are trying to figure out the fastest route to the airport while mouthing any and all ridiculous words that appear on the teleprompter. No sympathy there.

Alas for those that never sing,
But die with all their music in them!

Yeah, but I wont.... lol

Now, if you CHOOSE to watch it, knowing full well what the video is, you can't blame me for the Rick Roll

I completely agree. I thought it was fantastic. You have to have a great sense of humor to pull off something like that, and I give him a lot of credit.

My only issue was that he lipped synced his performance.  If you're gonna go and make a fun of yourself... do it fully.

It was great, just for the simple fact it was the last thing you expected to happen at the parade,
