So there's some rinky dink ren faire going in in Clinton, NJ this weekend and next weekend (June 20-28) that I'm planning on checking out (probably NEXT weekend). Anyone else want to come along? Post here so everyone can see if there's a group getting together, but PM me if you want my contact info.
Has anyone been to this thing?

Considering I live literally 5-10 minutes from there, you would think I would have heard about this... not so much. However, as much as I think this is gonna probably not be worth the 10 minute trip, drop me a PM whoever feels like going, on the off chance I'll be available. I'm fairly busy the next two weeks, but I might be in the area.

If its the same fair that was operating in the South Orange, NJ area, then it is very, very small compared to NY. Just don't expect a lot of vendors or attractions.

Ok, so it looks like there's plenty of interest. Awesome!
I have no intention of driving myself nuts coordinating multiple groups of people of whom half I don't even know, so let's just go with this:
Saturday, June 27 @ 1pm
Meet by the ticket booths.
Each group sorts out rides amongst themselves, but should attempt to get the phone number of at least one person from another group.
I can hold up to 4 people besides myself in my car, and can pick up people from any location between my house and the fair. As I live literally so close to manhattan that you can't go farther than my house without running out of new jersey, that includes anyone between NYC and Clinton along Rt 95 or 78, and makes driving with me a good option for most convenient pickups and fewest redundant cars. I suggest anyone from East of Clinton carpool with me, unless you've got your own group going or you live pretty close to it already.
I have Matt's number, so anyone going with him, assume contact between his group and mine is established. Anyone who wants a ride with me, send me a PM.
And yes, in response to someones comment, this is a tiny, cheesy, rinky dink little event. But it's here in Jersey, it's something to do on a Saturday afternoon... and I, um, kinda have to be there on business anyway so we might as well make a group day out of it

That would be sensible... but I'm busy this weekend T_T.
I won't feel bad if others want to do that.
What would REALLY be fun is if we made a weekend out of it and went to both. Of course that would depend on locals allowing crash space for us out of towners
