Shield Materials?

My original large shield is in need of repair, since the stiff foam core of it lost its durability from dampness.

I'm looking to replace it with something longer term, so I don't need to fix it up too often. What do others use for the core of their shield/ what would you recommend?

My large shield is completely made out of foamboard. if you're at the next event, look for a red tent near the guard barracks and I will be happy to show it off.

I already messaged Alan, but whoever made Steve O. and Karen Y.'s shields, those things stand up to LITERALLY ANYTHING in terms of abuse and the elements.

I would talk to them, they've got the red and black coffin shields.

Those would be my creations. Including Rayven, Leandra, Wolfgar, Belegchand, Typhon, Seamus, Bran, Caelven, Illana, Oren, Aiden, and others. Leandras shield is now 6 years old. Wolfgar is pushing 8.
